Roles and responsibilities
The hospital has a multi-slice CT, including cardio CTs, new 1.5 Tesla MRI and 4 ultrasound machines with dedicated ultrasound
technicians. There are also two bucky devices, an intervention room and a mammograph.
- Analyse and interpret medical images to diagnose illnesses and injuries
- Provide detailed and accurate reports on findings, including observations and recommendations for further testing or treatment
- Collaborate with referring physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss diagnostic imaging findings and patient care
- Stay abreast of advancements in radiology and teleradiology technologies and best practices
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostic interpretations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to patient privacy and data security
